We checked out a number of business credit cards with EIN only and did the research for you. So here are our top picks.
Cards for EIN (employer identification number) only most likely will not report to the personal credit bureaus. This is because the card issuer should only be using your Social Security Number for identification purposes and not to check for a personal credit score.

What Constitutes an “EIN Only” Card
Attempting to find a true EIN-only business credit card will often lead you to business credit cards that aren’t as described. There are many that are touted as EIN-only, but only for companies that can circumvent the traditional credit checks and personal guarantees.
How do we define an EIN-only card? The cards we’ve chosen on this list are EIN-only because they:
- Only assess your business credentials when you apply. Your business information is all that’s needed to acquire a card.
- Require no personal credit check during the application or require your SSN for identity verification only. A true EIN-only card won’t require your SSN in any capacity.
- Require no personal guarantee. Signing a personal guarantee puts your personal assets at risk, which defeats the purpose of an EIN-only card.
- Do not report to personal credit bureaus. Many traditional institutions report business credit card activity to personal credit bureaus, even if it’s only negative activity.
How Did We Choose the Best Business Credit Cards With EIN Only?
We evaluated the most popularly reported EIN-only cards online, taking care to research terms, documentation, and reach out to customer service to confirm that cards did not require personal guarantees or personal credit checks.
We prioritized those cards that can be secured with an EIN only, focusing primarily on those that cater to small businesses and offer the best terms and rewards programs.
Bear in mind that some of these are EIN-only when meeting certain conditions, whereas others are EIN-only for all small business applicants.

The FairFigure Capital Card is a business credit builder card that also comes with a real line of credit. That’s right – it’s an EIN-only, no personal credit check card that gets you funding, too.
Which is why we included it first on this list. You don’t have to have any business credit, and you can qualify. The credit line is based solely on your business’s revenue. If you don’t have enough, you’ll qualify once you hit $2,500 per month in recurring revenue.
For those looking to build business credit, consider that the card reports payments to Equifax Commercial, Creditsafe, and the SBFE – but not to the personal credit bureaus. (Remember that the SBFE reports payments to other business credit bureaus, including Dun & Bradstreet and Experian Business.)
What’s the catch? There are no security deposits or annual fees, but the card does require a $30 per month fee. This also gives you access to their business credit monitoring service, whose payments also get reported to the business credit bureaus. So this one card gives you two business credit tradelines to build your business credit score and carefully monitor it.
The other catch is that the card’s financing terms are short-term: either 4- or 8-week payback plans. The flip side is that you won’t get into big debt traps like you can with a normal credit card.
We spoke with Lauren at FairFigure to clarify late fees and other qualification terms. She confirmed there are late fees, although she did not expand on what those are. She also added the need for a FairFigure Foundation score of 25 and an ideal daily balance of $200 or more in your linked account.

However, they will not offer services to sole proprietorships or unincorporated businesses.

NOTE: The Coast Fuel Card says they may ask to perform a soft credit pull. To us, this indicates that you may be able to get this card without any type of pull on your credit. This is in comparison to other cards like the BILL Divvy Card, which makes it clear they will be conducting a soft credit pull when they process your application.
The Coast Fuel Card is another fuel card worth considering if you have a fleet for your business. They help businesses of any size, regardless of whether you only have five cars in your fleet or 100.
They only charge $4 per card a month, although they do have late fees you should be aware of. Applying for the Coast Fuel Card allows you to tap into discounts of anywhere from 4 to 10 cents per gallon at brands like Exxon, Mobil, and 7-Eleven, just to name a few. They offer 1% cash back for non-fuel expenses and a potential statement credit.
They require no personal guarantee, which is highlighted at the top of their website. They report all transactions to the SBFE as per their FAQs, helping you build credit with your fleet card.
The one thing we must point out is that they say they may ask to perform a soft credit pull. This means that it might be necessary, but you might be able to go without. We’ve included the Coast card in this list because of this. Other cards like BILL Divvy will perform a soft credit pull regardless when applying.
